  I live outside of the EU and have been a loyal M&S shopper and shareholder all of my life. Decided to treat myself to a little on-line shopping and have it shipped to me. Very disappointed to find that M&S do not deduct the amount of VAT included in the published prices on their website for international sales; effectively, they make a much higher margin from their international customers by keeping the VAT for themselves.   Order £90 worth of clothing and selected "Nominated Day Delivery" for £4.95, selecting Saturday. The delivery time is (ludicrously) 7am-9pm. I waited in ALL DAY and ALL EVENING for this delivery, which never came. I tracked it on the website as being "out for delivery". Phone M&S the following day, they couldn't help, saying that it would probably arrive on Tuesday. When I explained that I actually work for a living and won't be home on Tuesday, they told me that they'll leave a card for me to..
