Eventually about a week after Christmas I managed to speak to someone else who apologised and arranged for the mirror to be picked up. They wanted to replace it but by this stage we were sick to death of the mirror and afraid the same thing would happen again so we asked for a refund instead. The mirror was duly collected but we were unable to contact anyone for about a week after that to arrange the refund (which was eventually credited to my account some days later).
