    Went into the Laura Ashley store in Bolton with my partner to look at sofas as they were advertising 50% off for that particular weekend!

    We ordered a large 2 seater sofa and a small 2 seater sofa from the Gloucester range and chose, with great help from the assistant, 2 separate fabrics to compliment thehe look of our room.

    We were quoted a 12 weeks lead time (not ideal but the best things come to those who wait!)

    Sofas were delivered this week. The delivery team were courteous, polite, informative and wore shoe protectors when coming into my home. They unpacked the goods, talked us through the care procedure and took away all packaging and left the sofas in the place were we requested.

    The sofas look classy, timeless and feel very good quality. We are delighted with our purchase and have since been back into the store to buy cushions, throws and accessories.

    All in all a very satisfying experience, a quality product and a look that gets people talking when they visit!

    Never mind buying just because you want it now and express delivery. Choose carefully, be patient and you will be glad you did so!

    We purchased a Gatsby mirror from the Laura Ashley Maidstone branch and were happy with the service we received from the branch staff. Unfortunately this was not our experience with the customer services team.
    The mirror arrived after around 4 weeks (yes 4 weeks!) and when we hung it we noticed that the back was noticeably warped and did not sit flat to the wall. There was also a small chip in the glass. We contacted Customer Services and were told that we must report this within 3 days providing photographic evidence and someone would respond to our complaint. We emailed photos the next day and waited. And waited… After a week my husband called Customer Services to confirm receipt of the mail and was told that they were very busy, the photos were with the "Technical” department and we would hear back in due course. Another week passed, we called again. We were told the same thing, except this time (beginning of December) they were busy because it was Christmas. We kept calling to no avail. Eventually about a week after Christmas I managed to speak to someone else who apologised and arranged for the mirror to be picked up. They wanted to replace it but by this stage we were sick to death of the mirror and afraid the same thing would happen again so we asked for a refund instead. The mirror was duly collected but we were unable to contact anyone for about a week after that to arrange the refund (which was eventually credited to my account some days later).
